Many members and club supporters will know that club stalwart, Lance Wilkinson, had a stellar career playing in the VFL for Hawthorn. In fact, Wilky was the 397th player to be capped by the club, playing 116 games for Hawthorn between 1949 and 1956.
Equally impressive is the 364 games of pennant he has played for the MCC Bowls Club.
